Get Covered: Tomorrow!
March 7, 2014
Join the Cover Arizona coalition, the City of Phoenix and other local groups for an enrollment event at Civic Space Park on Saturday, March 8th beginning at 11:00 am for a day of health and fitness activities and to find out your options in the Health Insurance Marketplace. It’s estimated 72% of Arizonans who enroll in a plan qualify for financial assistance that brings down the cost of their monthly premium.
U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, was in town to promote the “Heart and Sol” Wellness Festival this week, emphasizing the need for people to get covered before the marketplace closes to open enrollment on March 31st.
Additionally, enrollment assisters will be available to help income-eligible Arizonans apply for the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), the state’s version of Medicaid.
